Councilmember Curren Price has partnered with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), among the largest transit agencies in the nation, to bring a world-class facility to the South LA community.
As a multipurpose central hub, “Slauson Connect” will provide neighbors with cutting edge education, training, access to information and the resources needed to help community members thrive and grow. The first-of-its-kind center in District 9 will include a daycare facility, afterschool programming, computer labs and many other amenities, including dedicated green space.
To learn more about this exciting project and provide feedback, join in on a LIVE virtual discussion taking place March 4 at 2 p.m. on LA Cityview Channel 35, online at LACITYVIEW.org/LIVE and streaming from Councilman Price’s Facebook Page @CurrenDPriceJr.
