For more than two decades, Angels Walk LA Historical Trails has brought self-guided walking activities designed to enhance the pedestrian experience in the City. The District 9 community is invited to a special journey exploring the deep rich history embedded along the Central Avenue corridor.
The latest installation to the Angels Walk tour has landed right in front of Councilmember Curren Price’s District Office (4301 S. Central Ave.) which is just one of 15 stanchions set to be completed in March. Click here for more information on this special program highlighting Central Avenue- considered the cultural, social, and entrepreneurial epicenter of the Black community in Los Angeles from the 1920s through the 1940s. Stay tuned for future updates!
Printed guidebooks are available for this walk. Please contact Councilmember Curren Price’s District Office at (323) 846-2651 for more information.
