Due to the financial crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and staff reductions, the Bureau of Street Services recently announced street sweeping operations are changing throughout the City from weekly to bi-weekly as of the week of March 1.
To help Angelenos adjust to the change, StreetsLA has launched a new communication system “Street Sweeping Near Me,” where residents can register for notifications of when their street will be swept. The notification system will allow the user to input an address and get notified 24 hours before via email when StreetsLA will be sweeping that route.
Neighbors can get more information via the City’s 3-1-1 Call Center, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m.-4:45 p.m. or go to the MYLA311 app or website. Visit the StreetsLA website here for more details or send an email to [email protected]
