News from the CD 9 Business Resource Center

Councilmember Curren Price has partnered with Rebrand Cities for the first “Small Business Website Build-a-thon” event hosted in Council District 9. Rebrand Cities is a global civic partnership with and the City of Los Angeles to help get 300 local Los Angeles businesses online with their very own website.

Through a Collaborative Building Model [Developer + Business Owner], small business owners can participate in interactive mini-workshops and Q&A sessions to fine-tune their website content in preparation for an engaging and intensive day of development toward their newly designed website.

The Website Build-a-thon will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at the NEW 9th Council District Business Resource Center inside Councilman Price's District Office (4301 S. Central Ave., Los Angeles 90011).

Registered participants will also be invited to participate in a pre-event Content Development session on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 6-8:30 p.m. also at the District Office. Here you will have the opportunity to develop your content in anticipation for the day of build out event on Feb. 26.

If you have been looking for an opportunity to get a website for your business created, then this event is for you!
