LA Officials Unite to Urge Public to Get Vaccinated

On Aug. 12,  Councilmember Curren Price stopped by Kedren Community Health Center and was joined alongside Assemblymember Reggie Jones-Sawyer, Congressmember Karen Bass, LA County Board Supervisor Holly Mitchell, and other elected officials to urge the South LA community to get vaccinated. The vaccine remains the best prevention method to keep Angelenos safe and stop the spread of COVID-19 and the Delta variant.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Councilmember Price had made it one of his Office’s top priorities to bring testing and vaccines directly into the neighborhood by organizing mobile clinics and pop-up sites Districtwide.

Help keep District 9 healthy and strong by getting vaccinated at one of the free mobile vaccination clinics located at South LA Wetlands Park and Green Meadows Recreation Center every Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. For more information, please see the flyers here or contact Councilman Price’s District Office at (323) 846-2651.
