On Friday, May 15, Councilman Curren Price joined 80 cars for an end of year parade in celebration of Santee Education Complex students and soon-to-be graduates. The procession, which traveled along Central Avenue and Martin Luther King Boulevard, brought cheers of joy from neighbors who lined the streets to commemorate all of the students' hard work and commitment during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"The efforts these students have made during such an extraordinary time in history will forever be etched onto the fabric of their lives," said Councilman Price. "They have laid a foundation filled with courage, resiliency, purpose and hope. I have no doubt that they will continue on a path of success."
