The Office of Councilman Curren Price has joined forces with SLATE-Z, CDTech, Coalition for Responsible Community Development, Public Allies Inc, YWCA of Greater Los Angeles and AmeriCorps to create the South LA Nonprofit Apprenticeship Program.
This opportunity will focus on developing leaders ages 18–25 in District 9 who are interested in exploring a career in social impact while receiving coaching/mentoring to support their post-secondary education. Councilman Price secured over $1 million to get this program off the ground with a mission to cultivate local community leaders who have the desire to improve South Los Angeles.
If you or someone you know is driven to make a difference in the District 9 community, this program will provide personalized support to help you achieve your educational and career goals.
Apply NOW through Oct. 6 by visiting: https://publicallies.org/ally-application/.
