Eaze has officially launched its second year of Momentum: A Cannabis Business Accelerator to cultivate the growth and success of underrepresented founders nationwide. This $500,000 program is one of the largest social impact initiatives in the cannabis industry to date.
Eaze is seeking people of color, women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, veterans, those who have been formerly incarcerated, or anyone who has been affected by the War on Drugs and faced significant barriers to enter into the industry. The program will include a $50,000 grant (no equity is taken), participation in a 10-week education program led by 70 industry volunteer experts, and access to Eaze’s ecosystem of business, marketing, and retailer resources. At Momentum’s conclusion, participants will pitch to industry-defining investors for the opportunity to raise additional funds to grow their businesses.
Applications are open and the deadline to apply is Dec. 15. You can learn more and find the application at Eaze.com/momentum.
