Play Lotería and Eat Pan de Muerto at the 2018 South LA Día de Los Muertos Festival

Click on the photo below to check out our promo video for this event, which was made possible by our friends at L.A. CityView 35.

Who wants pan de muerto? Those attending the 5th Annual South LA Día de Los Muertos Festival Friday at South Park will have the chance to play lotería and win some Mexican bread of the dead!

We'll also be giving away trees, CD 9 bags and other goodies. PLUS, the first 300 people will get hot dogs, mixed fruits, chips and a beverage.

The FREE Day of Dead Celebration also features live musical performances by Cumbia and Cha-cha-cha sensation, Sonora Santanera La Nueva Sangre; from Chiapas, Mexico, Mariachi Trio Palenque de Aurelio Reyes; and JukeBox playing Rock en Español, Flashbacks and Norteñas.

For more information on this CD 9 event, which includes an arts & crafts children's area and altars by the community, call my District Office at (323) 846-2651.

See you then.
