"The New Ninth Is Open for Business, but not Business as Usual"

The vision for the “New Ninth” is one of transformation, revitalization and change. This community needs and deserves the same amenities the rest of the city enjoys –clean streets, beautiful green space, local jobs, thriving businesses and opportunities for youth to learn and succeed.

Councilmember Curren Price was elected with a mandate to focus on quality of life issues that affect our neighborhoods. To accomplish these goals, he has outlined a set of priorities that guide all of our work in your Council Office.
