My job entails: Anything pertaining to the Northeast region of the Ninth District. This includes working in conjunction with several city and county departments in order to provide our constituents with community resources. In addition to improving living conditions, I coordinate and assist in the planning and execution of special events and programs in the District.

What most excites me about my work is: being a resource for our constituents and making a difference in their lives whether it’s big or small.

In the past, I have worked with: Affordable Care Act (nicknamed Obamacare and Covered California); Access Paratransit.

My all-time role models are my sisters, Wendy and Indira, for setting a great example, supporting me, and pushing me to my limits.

The best advice I’d give to my younger self is: know your limits, be kind to yourself, and drink plenty of water.

My favorite book of all time is: This Is How You Lose Her by Junot Díaz.

The three things I can’t live without are: family, music, and Tajín.
